We’re eager to make sure we embed a culture of diversity and inclusion, making Medito as accessible as possible to everyone.
Diversity encompasses the whole authenticity – gender, race, age, sexual orientations, nationality, religion, physical & mental ability, and many other attributes such as culture, personality, skills, thinking style and life experience, which shapes us individuals. It helps us build our self-esteem and confidence to be who we are.
Inclusion is our practical commitment to make a world more mindful. It helps us unleash the true power of our diversity as Medito helps people be themselves and cope with stress, anxiety, depression and other negative states of mind. We are a bridge to make meditation and mindfulness as accessible as possible to everyone to ensure? mental wellbeing in society.
Best Practices (we will add more and more!)
- We have recruited a Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Board. The members of this new advisory board produce meditation content to meet the needs of our diverse audience and provide advice and guidance on all of the content that we produce.
- We are keen to use our platform in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and members of the D&I Advisory Board are producing programmes, contents and blogs on race and social justice issues.
