Mindfulness improves psychological health and supports health behaviour cognitions

A large-scale RCT recruiting 1,247 adults from 91 countries. Participants used Medito's 30-Day Challenge for daily 10-minute mindfulness sessions. The trial found substantial improvements in psychological wellbeing, depression, anxiety, and sleep quality, with effects maintained at 2-month follow-up.

Getting Active through Mindfulness: digital mindfulness-based intervention promoting physical activity

109 adults in England followed a 30-day programme combining step tracking with daily mindfulness via Medito. While short-term physical activity didn't increase, participants reported significantly stronger intentions to keep exercising — suggesting a foundation for longer-term behaviour change.

Effects of combining physical activity with mindfulness on mental health: a systematic review

This review found mindfulness to be highly effective at reducing worry, stress, and anxiety while helping people live healthier lives. Based on these findings, Medito and the University of Bath created mindfulness audio courses designed to help people build an exercise habit.

Use of a mindfulness application to promote students' mental well-being during COVID-19

218 dental students used the Medito app with weekly meditation sessions incorporated into their timetable. The study found a positive correlation between mindfulness and resilience, and that app-based meditation may temporarily benefit students' mental wellbeing.
